About Kevin

Hi there!

I have had the joy and privilege of educating young people and I've seen firsthand the impact it can make.

I am an athlete, a conservationist, and an Eagle Scout (Nerd!  but with some street cred*). I’m also a university graduate with a B.A. in Education, I'm a former full-time youth-program director (with a decade alongside thousands of LA families), and I've held senior leadership roles at various media and talent companies, too.

I care deeply about the planet, our shared future, and — most of all — the demanding, inquisitive kids who will shape it. While I take these responsibilities seriously, I believe in the magic of humor, playfulness and heart.

I created Real World Ready because I think preparing kids for the roads that lie ahead is one of the most meaningful things we can do.

I am excited to share some specific knowledge with your family and know that if your young adult walks away remembering even one serious life lesson, the investment was worth it.

*Shot dude out of cannon for MTV; caught crash audio for NASCAR; hiked alone through Cuba; same through Europe; hung out of a helicopter before the era of drones; wrote memoirs and scripts for-hire; four cross-country road trips; homeowner; renter; survivor; poker win against Carl Weathers; lots of successes and lots of fails . . .  Some things I would do again, others I would not.  Helping impart objectively-good judgment is the key.
